1. Scope of Application
All bookings are made exclusively on the basis of the following General Terms and Conditions. Deviating or conflicting terms shall not be recognized unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. Booking and Conclusion of Contract
By making a booking, the customer submits a binding offer to Giuliani Reisen to conclude a travel contract. The contract comes into effect upon written confirmation (by email or letter) by Giuliani Reisen. After booking, the customer will receive a booking confirmation including a description of the travel services.
3. Payment
3.1. A deposit must be paid to the specified account within 7 days of receipt of the booking documents. The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days prior to the start of the trip. For short-notice bookings made within 28 days before departure, the full travel price is due immediately.
3.2. Any additionally booked travel insurance must be paid in full immediately after booking.
3.3. For credit card payments, a transaction fee of 2% of the total travel price may apply.
4. Services and Changes to Services
4.1. The scope of services results from the respective booking confirmation. Special requests may be taken into consideration but are not guaranteed.
4.2. Changes to the itinerary, program, or accommodations remain reserved if they become necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
5. Prices
All prices are stated in euros. In the event of cost changes, such as airfare increases or exchange rate fluctuations, Giuliani Reisen reserves the right to adjust the travel price by up to 10%.
6. Cancellation by the Customer
6.1. The customer may withdraw from the contract at any time prior to departure. The cancellation must be made in writing by email or post.
6.2. The following cancellation fees apply:
Up to 4 weeks before departure: 30% of the travel price
30–15 days before departure: 50% of the travel price
14–3 days before departure: 90% of the travel price
From 72 hours before departure: 95% of the travel price
6.3. Deviating cancellation conditions may apply for individual trips or service providers and will be communicated separately at the time of booking.
7. Liability
7.1. Giuliani Reisen is liable for the proper organization of the trip up to the amount of the travel price.
7.2. Giuliani Reisen assumes no liability for services provided by third parties (e.g. hotels, airlines, transport companies).
7.3. The customer is obliged to report any defects immediately so that Giuliani Reisen can remedy the situation.
7.4. Liability for delays or cancellations due to force majeure is excluded.
8. Data Protection
Personal data is used exclusively for the processing of the trip and will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the trip.
9. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
German law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is Munich, provided the customer is a merchant or a legal entity under public law.
10. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
